Andrew's first full-length CD release hears him paying homage to American music masters while confidently stepping out on his own in uncharted territory - keeping his approach and compositions fresh and meaningful for modern listeners. 

 

The CD includes 8 tracks and 1 bonus track. The album's title song, "Stone Cross", sets you in the Louisiana swamps on an old back porch. Slide guitar meanders in around sometimes-mournful lyrics portending a grave future. "Lamplight" is a song of hope in the style of traditional acoustic blues bordering on gospel. "Resurrection Day" creates a modern sound with the upright bass and percussion skills of engineer/producer Chad Lenig. 

 

The album shares the common theme of Americana while pushing boundaries set by so many musicians who came before in the genres of blues, country, and folk.
